I just got a new laptop recently, and after installing zoom, I realised I couldn’t get past the log in page without a “You are unable to connect to Zoom.

Then, I tried to use SSO to sign in on the desktop client and had some errors associated with that, and when I went back to sign in with my gmail address I again could not connect to Zoom to log in.

So I used the uninstaller again and reinstalled the client – and I will no longer attempt using SSO on the desktop app. Maybe SSO is only meant for using in-browser? I don’t know. I’m using SSO and am seeing connection issues on the zoom desktop. A new meeting is attempted and we see the connection attempts going in a loop. This has loop can continue for over an hour.. Traffic analyser shows timeout errors, and the zoom appears to be connecting to their HT Tunnels.
